Mitchell Kuya, a pupil from Kibera slums, won a scholarship at Makini School for her exemplary talent in Jump Rope.

She holds various titles in the 2020 virtual Double Dutch tournament; she came in second position and fifth place in the most recent Double Dutch tournament at Apollo Theatre in New York, United States.

In 2018 and 2019, she secured an excellent performance in Norway's World Champion jump Rope Tournament

She was among other teams from Kenya who were supposed to carry the country's flag to the World Jump Rope Championship in Canada in July 2020 but the games were suspended due to COVID-19.
