Please prepare the following

Please prepare the following documents in soft copy to upload with your application and hard copy for your file at the school. You will need to have a copy of the Birth Certificate and Parent ID attached to submit your application. You may upload the other documents later in your application process. Our Enrolment Officers are ready to assist you at any point.


Step 1: Pre-Admission Documents


  1. Copy of Immunization Certificate – Reception to Preschool only    
  2. Copy of Child’s Birth Certificate
  3. Copy of parent’s/guardian’s valid Passport and visa if not a Kenyan citizen.
  4. Copy of Pupil’s valid Pass/Visa if not a Kenyan citizen.
  5. Passport Size Photographs (2 for student and 1 for each parent/guardian)                                                                                               
  6. Copy of Mother’s ID Card/Passport and 1 Passport Size Photo
  7. Copy of Father’s ID Card/Passport and 1 Passport Size Photo
  8. Certified copy of Last Report from Previous School (Mandatory for both CBC & Cambridge Primary & Secondary)
  9. Certified copy of student’s Leaving Certificate/Clearance Letter (Mandatory if the student is transferring from another school).
  10. Nemis Number and Assessment Number (CBC Curriculum) 
  11. Certified copy of KPSEA results (Grade 7 & 8 CBC Curriculum


Step 2: Admission Process


  • Pay application non-refundable application Fee.
  • Oral/written assessments conducted at the school or online only on special considerations by the school.
  • Assessment reports will be approved by the School Principal/Headteacher. The rights to admission remains a reserve of Makini School.
  • The Outcome of the assessment will be communicated within 24 business hours by the school administrator via Telephone and Email and an admission offer letter sent to the Parents/Guardians.
  • Parents/ Guardians of students who receive approval for admission must acknowledge by accepting the offer letter based on the instructions on the offer letter.
  • Pay a non-refundable admission fee.
  • Admission to class will ONLY be granted upon completion of full Admission process and payment of full-term school fees.
