MAKINI CAMBRIDGE

Cambridge Curriculum

Respect, Diversity and Inclusion

Y1 - Y11

Year 1 - Year 11

The Cambridge curriculum caters to the diverse interests and strengths of your child from STEM subjects to sports, music and the arts. This is aligned with our ethos of educating the whole child to thrive in the modern world.

The Cambridge curriculum is internationally recognised and exposes learners to global opportunities based on the 21st-century competencies: problem-solving skills, communication skills, critical thinking, independent research and collaboration not only in school but with peers globally. This results in confident, responsible, creative and innovative human beings, our leaders of tomorrow.

The Cambridge framework provides curricula for the key subjects of English, Mathematics and Science. Other subjects are based upon the English National Curriculum. They include History, ICT (Computers), Physical Education, Geography and Global Perspectives. We are keen on ensuring that Makini Cambridge upholds Kenyan values through subjects such as History, Geography and Kiswahili. French is also taught as an additional language.

Beyond academic rigour, we are passionate about developing future global citizens through long-term, dedicated and strong partnerships between parents, students and staff.
