Aftercare & Holiday Program
In the bustling corridors of pre- school, the day doesn’t always end when the final bell rings. For some children, their day continues through the afternoon with an aftercare program. These programs, while overlooked by many, play a critical role in the development of young minds. They are far more than just a safe place for children to wait until their parents fetch them. These facilities offer a wide range of benefits and activities that extend far beyond academics and the classroom environment.
The aftercare and holiday program is an enrichment program that offers a wide range of stimulating play activities; arts and crafts, music, drama, sports, and coding to creatively engage our little ones with a primary focus on providing a safe and structured environment for children to stay after school hours at no Extra cost.
Parents/ guardians with busy work schedules face time pressure due to juggling between school pick-up and attending to the demands of their jobs. The constant concern about meeting work deadlines, navigating through traffic, and ensuring prompt pickup at 3:00 PM creates an ongoing whirlwind of struggle. Makini Preschool Aftercare program provides engaging and fulfilling activities while learners await pickup by their parents in the evening. This means they don't have to endure long hours at school or grueling commutes in heavy traffic.
Aftercare Program Activities
The Aftercare program takes place on weekdays; Monday-Friday for 2 hours starting at 3:00 pm - 5:00pm providing flexible late pick-up option and the Holiday program takes place during the school holidays.

Computer Games Coding & Robotics
Helps learners to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through hands-on activities, fun apps and computer software. Expand on their mathematical foundation while learning about patterns, sequencing, and spatial awareness at their level.
Sports & Play
The learner will do plenty of exercises and play under the supervision of trained teachers and caregivers. We have playgrounds with age-appropriate play facilities for kids to romp, climb, and swing on. Which helps in the development of psychomotor skills.
Ancillary Programs
Ancillary programs enhance a child's interest in something specific such as performing art, creative art, cooking, and farm adventures. There is so much learning that comes from intentional activities and children attempting activities they see adults perform.
Chess
Board games build on their communication skills, learning how to follow instructions and observe how their peers think and act. Chess helps in improving learners focus and sharpen their analytical and critical thinking skills.
