Sandra Kimokoti – Class of 2006-Senior consultant in agriculture, energy, education and financial inclusion.

My best memory of Makini was the Saturday afternoon trips in the school van after Saturday classes. We convinced the van driver to stop in Westlands for a few minutes so we could buy chips. Those Saturday van rides were always fun.

My best teachers were Mrs. Ochieng’ (nursery), she was so motherly, Mr. Misiani (class 5) – he was very kind, Mrs. Binns (class 6 and class 7 teacher) was also very kind to me and Mr. Jumba made class 8 bearable for me because he always reminded me never to take life too seriously, and he would always make us laugh even when he was punishing us.
