The UN Global Impact

Makini was the first school in Kenya to sign up to the UN Global Compact. This entails making a commitment to practice sustainable business based on the 10 Global Compact principles aligned to the framework of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Makini Schools submits a Communication on Engagement, biannually, outlining the measures we have taken to practically commit to these principles, which are categorised under: Human Rights, Labour, Environment, Anti-corruption.
