Makini is dedicated to the development of teaching and learning through the use of digital technology.

The Makini Digital school is an online portal that houses:

1. Makini digital platform: Learners can access past papers that automark hence feedback is immediate. Future plans are to include teacher e-resources and notes to cater for individualised learning as well as pupil absentee cases.
2. Makini Elections platform: Learners vote for their prefered candidates in this custom made platform. The system allows registration of voters, the actual voting, tallying of results and announcement of results. It is a secure and easy to use platform and is part of our mission to ensure that students develop digital literacy, develop as citizens and also develop skills and understanding that will serve them in life beyond school.
3. Makini learner’s blog: With the introduction of coding classes, learners through the skills taught on web development, can have their work published in their own blog. Learners get to acquaint themselves with web development as well come up with solutions.
4. Kenya Maths Olympiad ( KMO) portal: Makini Digital is hosting the Mathematics Olympiad Kenya portal. Learner registration and marks can be accessed. Future plans are to enable Maths Olympiad questions to be accessible online with automark features.
5. Professional Development: Makini digital has a dedicated domain to cater for the submission of the various professional resources for teachers. Lesson plans, schemes of work, daily attendance, punctuality, timetabling, student reports, and tracking and monitoring of student achievement is all available online.ment and voice.
