Makini Junior School Kisumu City is part of Makini School Kisumu city campus, which is located along Nyerere road now enrolling learners in Grade 7, Grade 8 and starting 2025 Grade 9 . Makini Junior School Kisumu has modern and spacious classroom fitted with modern furniture, projectors installed in every classroom and large whiteboard in every classroom. Well-equipped learning facilities such as Home Science laboratory, Science laboratory, Computer laboratory with Wi-Fi to enhance ICT integration in curriculum delivery and to support STEM and Robotics skills. Our teachers are well equipped with the necessary skills to deliver the Junior School Curriculum. Majority of our teachers have participated in the development of the instructional materials for the CBC curriculum.

At Makini Junior School Kisumu, we have made Computer Science mandatory for all and given the learners a chance to choose between French (Foreign Language and Home Science).
